Kansai Queer Film Festival organizing committee
Kansai Queer Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Kansai area that screens works related to sexuality and diverse lifestyles. We provide a program that sheds light on many perspectives, with films that are worldly famous as well as ones that are lesser known. More importantly, Kansai Queer Film Festival has screened more than any other film festival in Japan, films about transgender, bisexual, and intersex people, not just gays and lesbians. We also show films that portray the connection between sexuality/ gender issues and issues concerning race/disabilities/etc.
