"WEWANTOSEE in Kanazawa"-Executive Committee (Hokuriku Belgium Friendship Association)

an intercultural art exhibition which brings together 32 artists from Japan and Belgium as a part of the cultural project to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Belgium.

Additionally, a forum for the participating artists is to be held with the goal of furthering cultural exchanges and cross-cultural understanding for both countries.

The exhibition includes the exhibiting of two dimensional works (paintings, prints, drawings and etc.) by 32 artists. We estimate dividing the wall-space into roughly eight meters per person and expect a total of around 200 works to be exhibited.

Most of the participating artists for both countries have a deep connection to Ghent or Kanazawa.
